AEM Cold Air Intake System for 2009 to 2014 Acura TSX 2.4L
The 2009 to 2014 Acura TSX is an impressive entry-level luxury car built with an abundance of standard features. Many Acura TSX owners boast about its quality interior, sporty handling and attractive vehicle design but also mention the lack of power from the 2.4 liter models. All in all, the 2009 to 2014 Acura TSX, no matter which model you own, is an enjoyable car to drive.
Dyno Test Results for 2010 Acura TSX 2.4L
AEM introduced a cold air intake system designed for the 2010 Acura TSX with the 2.4L engine. Specifically designed to boost power and acceleration, the 21-697C uses a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube engineered to reduce restriction and intake temperature.
The intake tube is routed through the fender placing the filter behind the
factory fog light on the driver's side. This allows for an influx of cooler
outside air. More than 100 dyno testing runs were made in perfecting
this design.
Dyno-testing on an Acura TSX model with a 2.4L engine demonstrated an increase of 10.2 horsepower at 6600 rpm with the use of AEM's
21-697C cold air intake. AEM
has a link to the dyno test results on the
21-697C
air intake product page.
AEM air intake systems are designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific cars and trucks. Installation of the 21-697C cold air intake system in the 2009 to 2014 Acura TSX 2.4L could not be easier with AEM's
detailed installation instructions.
AEM's Acura TSX air intake system, is protected by the AEM Air Intake System Warranty Policy. AEM warrants that its air intake systems and Dryflow™ air filters will last for the life of your vehicle.

Tanner Foust giving chase to Tyler McQuarrie in his Top 16 battle.
The wine country of the northern Bay Area was quiet and peaceful until Formula Drift slid through on September 10th and 11th. Fans were treated to some awesome drifting action and a sneak preview of the intense competition to follow at Irwindale, CA October 8th and 9th.

Gardella Racing and their AEM sponsored LS7-powered Pontiac Solstice made their presence known over the weekend with a strong finish in 2nd place. Ryan Tuerck drove phenomenally and took the Retakes Insane Entry Award for his performance. The competition was stiff as Ryan had to face Darren McNamara, Dai Yoshihara, and Tanner Foust on his way to the final race against Vaughn Gittin Jr. "The car felt great and I felt great. The setup was perfect," said Ryan, and his car and his team have helped to put him just 85 points out of first place.

Rockstar Scion Racing and their AEM sponsored NACSAR V8 powered Scion tC had a great weekend too and kept their team in strong contention for the championship, finishing in 3rd place over the weekend. "It has been an incredibly competitive season," said team owner Stephan Papadakis,
Ryan Tuerck showing off his trophy.
"To be heading into the final round in third place after four podiums is a testament to how high the level of competition has been this year." Stephan's observation couldn't be any more accurate, as Tanner had to do battle with Patrick Mordaunt, Tyler McQuarrie, Rhys Millen, and Ryan Tuerck on his way to his podium finish.
It all comes down to this - The Title Fight, October 8th and 9th in Irwindale, CA. With only 100 points separating 1st and 4th place, the stakes couldn't get any higher. Just one 1st place finish can send a team to the top of the podium. AEM sponsored Gardella Racing and Rockstar Scion Racing are poised and ready. Drift fans won't want to miss the exciting finish to the 2010 Formula Drift season. Every driver is going to be charging hard, leaving everything on the track. This will be a race for the ages.

Located near the General Motors display booth, AEM is scheduling Tanner Foust's Scion tC Formula Drift machine for exhibition in the booth for the event. The car is designed with a modified firewall to accommodate the large set back V8 engine an intake which has been changed from an Edelbrock manifold to a complete welded fuel injection system with a custom tuned AEM induction tube and Dry-flow technology filter. Rounding out this Scion's design it has been converted from a FWD to a RWD and utilizes a completely different suspension system from the stock engineering. All parts of this top rate drifting machine are scheduled to be in the AEM booth during the SEMA Show.
Other display booths at the show are also set to sport AEM systems. AEM is currently working to build a Subaru STI that is expected to be displayed at Subaru of America, booth number 21502. In the late 1960's, the Chrysler Corporation debuted its iconic Dodge Challenger. The Challenger was appropriately named as it was released to challenge the Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang in the then new muscle-car class.
Dyno Chart for Dodge Challenger 3.5L V6
Fast-forward to the present day and the Dodge Challenger is in its third generation. The current Challenger model was designed in 2008 as a remake of the original with a twist of vintage styling and modern technology.
AEM has just released a cold air intake for 2009 and 2010 Dodge Challenger
and Charger models with 3.5-liter SOHC V6 engines. AEM parts 21-696P (Polished) and 21-696C (Grey) are two-piece aluminum induction systems that feature a large, molded rubber elbow coupler and massive 7-inch tall DRYFLOW performance cone shaped air filter.
These 3.5-liter V6 engines are relatively underpowered in relation to engines
in other muscle cars. With only 250 horsepower from the factory, AEM engineers looked to not only improve peak power gains with the 21-696P or 21-696C Cold Air Intake but to improve low-to-midrange power production as well.
Cold Air Intake for Dodge Challenger 3.5L V6
During AEM testing a Dodge Challenger realized a 7.36 horsepower improvement at 3800 RPM with the AEM cold air intake installed. Peak horsepower was also improved, going from 174.52 in stock trim to 177.43 horsepower. A substantial addition in torque was also recorded during AEM's testing, with a maximum gain of 10.63 ft/lb at just 3500 RPM with the intake installed.
The 21-696P and 21-696C Cold Air Intake systems come with a large oil-free DRYFLOW performance air filter (21-2147DK). The 21-2147DK has a flange inside diameter of 3.5-inches (89mm) and a height of 7-inches (178mm), allowing the delivery of a plentiful amount of airflow to the 3.5-liter V6 engines of the Dodge Challenger and Charger. The DRYFLOW air filter media creates a filter that is extremely durable, easily cleaned and delivers excellent filtration. For added filtration, AEM offers Filter Wraps that are manufactured from durable micro-screen materials that are pretreated with a proprietary hydrophobic process. AEM filter wraps repel water splashes and extend the filters service life. For the 21-696P and 21-696C air intake systems, AEM Filter Wraps are available as a separate accessory (Part Number: 1-4007).
