Give your 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016 Jeep Compass or Patriot 4-cylinder a guaranteed boost in horsepower and torque with the AEM 21-762C cold air intake system

The terms Jeep and off-road have essentially become synonymous with one another. In recent years Jeep has expanded its offerings with a range of compact SUVs including the refined Compass and competent Patriot. These SUVs are just as comfortable on-road as well as off-road, paying a classy homage to their sport utility vehicle roots. Powered by either a 2.0 liter or 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine, fuel economy figures satisfy; however, power may leave something to be desired for some owners. Give your 2011-2016 Jeep Compass or Patriot 4-cylinder a guaranteed boost in horsepower and torque with the AEM 21-762C cold air intake system.

The 21-762C AEM air intake will fit and provide increased performance without additional modifications on the 2011-2016 Jeep Compass and Patriot models listed below. This precision-engineered performance AEM intake system replaces the restrictive factory intake ducting from the throttle body forward. A mandrel-bent aluminum air intake tube helps to minimize restriction and streamline airflow into the engine, allowing the engine to breathe easier.

An AEM 21-2157DK DryFlow® conical synthetic non-oiled air filter is fitted to the inlet of the 2011-2016 Jeep Compass & Patriot intake system. This filter provides excellent filtration efficiency as well as high dirt capacity. Perhaps best of all, the Dryflow media does not require any oil so cleaning the filter is quite simple. The oversized AEM Dryflow air filters used in AEM intake systems can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings, depending on driving conditions.

An application specific air filter heat shield surrounds the AEM Dryflow filter and reuses the factory fresh air duct for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016 Jeep Compass or Patriot models

An application specific air filter heat shield surrounds the AEM Dryflow air filter. Additionally, the new AEM air filter heat shield and intake system maintains use of the factory fresh air duct. The air filter heat shield protects air entering the engine from radiant heat under the hood. AEM strives to provide cooler air because cooler air has more mass which can help combustion efficiency and increase horsepower.

Without results, the 21-762C would be just another shiny part under the hood and the proof of performance gains is in the dyno sheet. On the dyno, a 2015 Jeep Compass 2.0 liter equipped with the 21-762C AEM air intake system produced an estimated additional 5 horsepower at 4500pm and 6 pound-feet of torque at 4500rpm to the wheels. Performance gains should be similar, or better, on models with the larger 2.4 liter inline four cylinder engine.

The 21-762C AEM cold air intake system is an easy-to-install performance upgrade. Jeeps are built to handle tough conditions and so are AEM air intake systems. AEM backs its air filters and air intake systems with a Lifetime Limited Warranty, giving owners the confidence that their intake system will be able to handle anything their Jeep can.

AEM improves the performance of 2013, 2014, and 2015 Chevrolet Spark 1.2-liter models by replacing the restrictive factory air induction system with a performance designed intake from AEM

The Chevrolet Spark isn't the biggest, fastest, or meanest looking car on the road. In fact, the GM Korea, previously Daewoo Motors, designed car's biggest claim to fame is that it was featured in the 2009 installment of the live action Transformers series, titled Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. While the Autobot named Skids proved unfavorable with audiences, Edmunds.com reported that the 2013 Chevrolet Spark was the fastest selling car in the United States for July 2012.

AEM Illustrates Tuner Heritage with Unlikely Domestic Candidate for 2015 SEMA Show

Advanced Engine Management, more commonly known as AEM, has been designing and selling performance enhancing products, such as cold air intake systems, as an easy way to increase horsepower since 1994. AEM was embedded in the import tuner market from the very beginning and its first cold air intake was offered for sale in 1994 as a Do-It-Yourself upgrade for the Honda CRX. This first AEM cold air intake system proved to be the beginning of a whole new tradition and solidified AEM’s reputation as a big hitter in the sport compact scene.

With over 20 years of import tuner heritage and sport compact expertise it may strike some people as odd that AEM would choose to feature a 2015 Ford Mustang in its 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show booth. However, for the first time in nearly thirty years, Ford has offered a turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine in the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. Given AEM’s experience in improving the performance of small displacement and turbocharged engines, it now makes a bit more sense why AEM would feature a Mustang in its booth at the 2015 SEMA Show.

Probably 95% of the 2015 Ford Mustang models, and there were a lot at the 2015 SEMA Show, were 2015 Mustang GT models, which made the Satin Bitter Yellow 3M wrapped EcoBoost Mustang stand out from the crowd in more ways than one. The two tone color scheme was designed to pay homage to American muscle while embracing AEM’s tuner heritage. AEM started the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost build by installing the AEM Cold Air Intake System for the inline 4 cylinder 2.3L engine. This air intake 21-740C, showed an estimated 12 HP gain at 4,500 RPM to the rear wheels of an otherwise stock 2015 Ford Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost.

The AEM Mustang EcoBoost air Intake features a couple of unique design elements including a purpose built mandrel-bent aluminum air intake tube and a unique oval-shaped Dryflow® clamp-on air filter. AEM Induction Systems took the performance of its 2015 SEMA Show booth vehicle one step further with a soon to be released to the public mandrel-bent and powder coated aluminum charge pipe kit for improved airflow to and from the turbo. "With our intake system we are getting 12 horsepower, and currently testing our all-new Charge Pipes,” said Ross Berlanga, AEM Brand Manager. “We are seeing great horsepower gains with the Charge Pipes and intake system combined."

AEM Electronics got on board with the AEM 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost build for the 2015 SEMA Show and took the build to another level. AEM Electronics added a Water/Methanol Injection kit to the AEM CAI that bolts up using incorporated inlets, with no drilling required. AEM Electronics also added its new X-Series Digital Gauges, which includes the new X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Controller Gauge featuring X-Digital technology, and various pressure and temperature monitoring gauges.

Further cranking up the performance of the AEM 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is a complete cat-back stainless steel exhaust system with blacked-out dual exhaust tips from Magnaflow Exhaust. “To help maximize our horsepower, we have a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, which features smaller mufflers to really enhance the horsepower on our 2.3L Mustang, especially when it’s in normal drive mode. It has better throttle response, but when Sport Mode is engaged, there’s an animal that’s released. It’s amazing how much horsepower this little four-cylinder is putting down,” said Ross Berlanga, AEM Brand Manager.

Liquid Metal applied a custom matte metallic charcoal grey finish with a red stripe behind the multi spoke SOT wheel design to match the performance theme of the AEM EcoBoost Mustang. This extra attention to detail from the folks at Liquid Metal Wheels earned the AEM Mustang an honorable mention in Mustang & Fast Fords Mustang360 top 23 Mustang wheels at the 2015 SEMA Show.

The AEM 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost’s aggressive stance is accomplished with a complete Eibach suspension system. Eibach suspension upgrades to the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost include: a stainless steel bodied coil-over spring & damper package, and an Eibach anti-roll sway bar kit up front and outback. The Eibach ERS Racing Springs and ERD Racing Dampers let serious drivers quickly adjust the ride height of each individual wheel. The Eibach anti-roll sway bar kit helps to further reduce body roll.
