Any real driver knows that when it comes to hauling heavy payloads you need reliable performance and a lot of it. The 2011 to 2012 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500 HD 6.6 liter diesel motors are an excellent choice for a truck that requires a little something extra to get the job done. The 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engine offers drivers an additional boost in power and torque over the standard fuel injected 6.0 liter gasoline engine. Since the 2011-2012 Chevy/GMC 2500HD and 3500HD Duramax are popular diesel trucks, the AEM Research & Development team focused on improving the already well designed stock intake to maintain intake air temperatures near ambient, reduce air restriction, and maximize low-end torque for towing. The 21-9032DS air intake system will not void your GMC or Chevrolet warranty and it is backed with AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty.

When dyno tested, the 21-9032DS showed an estimated performance gain of 14HP @ 2100RPM and 30ft-lbs of torque @ 2100RPM. Much of this impressive improvement over the stock intake system is due to the custom design and special features included with the 21-9032DS intake. The 21-9032DS includes an oversized AEM Dryflow^® synthetic washable air filter (part number 21-2288DK) for outstanding air flow, filtration, and performance while allowing easy oil-free cleaning. AEM's 21-9032DS air intake system is easy to install and can go up to 100,000 miles before servicing, depending on driving conditions. This Brute Force HD air intake also sports a custom designed intake tube and enclosed air box. As an additional feature, the AEM air box includes a filter minder gauge that reads the restriction level of the air filter notifying you when the filter is ready to be cleaned.
