Such is the story of the long 30 year alliance Ford Motor Company and Mazda Motor Corporation have shared. Ford and Mazda's past partnership laid the foundation for a sharing of technology and a synergy where both parties benefited greatly. Even though Mazda and Ford are no longer intertwined entirely, Ford still owns a very small portion of Mazda and has left the channels open for possible future collaboration.

Ford Motor Co. has gone through many changes since its inception - including the merging and acquisitions of other automotive companies. In this process they partnered up with Volvo from 1999 to 2016. Volvo was experiencing stagnancy in a saturated market, but Ford saw the potential Volvo had with their innovative manufacturing process. In 1922 Ford acquired Lincoln Motor Corporation. Since then, Lincoln has now become Ford's luxury line of automobiles producing higher end vehicles.
All these mergers and acquisitions, over time, set the groundwork for significant advancement in technologies and manufacturing efficiency. Ford introduced the C platform which was known as the largest platform program in history at the time. The C platform ensured that select Volvos, Fords and Mazdas shared over 60% of their parts. The C platform evolved to the C1 platform, incorporating additional vehicles and standardizing engine design. The AE-20993 is an easy to install high flow air filter that is designed to increase horsepower and torque. This replacement air filter is engineered to drop right into the factory air box. It is made out of a synthetic oil-free filter material that provide excellent filtration while it protects the engine models.
The AE-20993 high flow air filter comes with a large surface area which allows for long service intervals.
