2013-2015 Ford Fusion EcoBoost 1.6L Gets More Power From AEM Cold Air Intake

The 2013, 2014, and 2015 Ford Fusion 1.6L EcoBoost turbo engine is a step up from the base naturally aspirated 2.5L Duratec 4-cylinder engine. The optional 1.6L EcoBoost L4 engine adds a little more performance with the real benefits being rated in miles per gallon. Ford EcoBoost technology has managed to squeeze good power and excellent fuel economy out of surprisingly small engines. The AEM CAI for 2013-2015 Fusion 1.6L EcoBoost models aims to maximize the amount of air available to the 1.6L EcoBoost engine's turbocharger allowing it to spool up quicker. In addition to increasing horsepower, this will also improve drivability during daily driving. AEM Intakes replaced the restrictive factory intake ducting and air filter box with a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum air intake tube and an oversized washable AEM Dryflow® performance air filter. By eliminating restrictive factory components, AEM CAI 21-768C was able to provide a dyno proven increase in horsepower and torque. When installed on a stock 2013 Ford Fusion 1.6L EcoBoost Automatic, AEM CAI 21-768C was shown to provide an estimated additional 7 HP and 9 lb-ft of torque.
