Sixth generation Hyundai Sonata as well as third generation Kia Optima models come standard with the 2.4-liter Theta GDI direct injection engine. This new engine makes more horsepower than the standard inline four that it replaces, however many 2011-2015 Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima 2.4L owners are looking to add more power with an AEM cold air intake.
